Leonardo DiCaprio on starring in Paul Thomas Anderson's new movie

Jeff Sneider mentioned that he had a major scoop he was going to reveal later today and he didn’t disappoint.

Will it be better than Leonardo DiCaprio's next film signing Paul Thomas Anderson? Now, here's a scoop. I'll try to get more details from Sneider in the next hour... There hasn't been any official word yet, but Sneider says it's almost a sure thing.

It is said that this is the mysterious project that we reported on a few weeks ago. A new film from PTA with no plot details and no cast. What we do know is that production will take place in and around Los Angeles this summer — PTA has already shot most of his films and set them in California

DiCaprio's decision to work with the PTA makes sense, as what the actor has been doing for the past 20 years is exclusively making films and only working with A-list filmmakers.

Some of the names that have worked with DiCaprio include Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Ridley Scott, Alejandro González Inaritu, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and Quentin Tarantino.

Fun fact: DiCaprio turned down the role of Dirk Diggler in “Boogie Nights.”
